Making a mark in the meetings blogosphere
Thanks to Sue Pelletier at face2face we have been introduced to a few new bloggers who are making their mark in the meetings blogosphere. Checking them out I particularly like meetingsBabble by Eli Gorin. Eli states that his personal focus is Latin America, and writes this excellent piece on why planners should consider taking their meetings overseas with money being three of the five reasons listed. Breaking down the difficulty of planning international meetings into different levels, he suggests at the introductory level that a planner might consider locations not necessarily perceived as so “international” such as Canada, Cancun, or Jamaica.
Welcome to the blogosphere Eli. With such a strong start I am looking forward to reading more.
